Nitrogen fertilizer pricing reflects seasonal planting demand, natural gas feedstock economics, and vessel availability. Compare physical export hubs across the Arab Gulf, Egypt, China, Black Sea, and the Baltic with major destination markets in Brazil and North America.
How These Markets Differ
- Products: urea (granular/prilled), ammonium sulphate (standard/compacted/granular), bulk AN and CAN 27, UAN 32/30. Coverage does not include ammonia.
- Cadence: most series are weekly; a set of daily urea and sulphate series exists for China, Egypt, Middle East, Nigeria, Brazil and NOLA.
- Units: USD/mt except NOLA barges (USD per short ton) and Rouen / inland Germany (EUR/mt).
