Convert EUR, USD and CNY with the reference rate published by one central bank on one observation date.
Sources: Federal Reserve · ECB · PBoC/CFETS
Rates shown are published reference observations and central parity rates, not executable bank quotes. Source methodologies and observation dates differ. Calculated cross rates are derived only from observations issued by the same source on the same date.

The line connects neighboring published observations. A segment between two dates is not a rate for the days in between.

The percentage is the other rate divided by the benchmark rate, minus one. Only this exact date is used; an earlier observation is not carried forward. Fed H.10, the ECB reference rate and the CFETS central parity are fixed by different methods and at different times. The gap is not a tradable spread.
Rates shown are published reference observations and central parity rates, not executable bank quotes. Each source is kept separate. A cross rate is calculated only from the two observations that the same source published on the same date.

In the published direction the result is the amount multiplied by the rate. In the opposite direction the result is the amount divided by that same rate. A reciprocal is not taken from another source. If both currencies are the same, the result is the amount.
EUR/USD is US dollars per euro. USD/CNY is yuan per US dollar. EUR/CNY is yuan per euro. Federal Reserve: EUR/CNY = EUR/USD × USD/CNY. ECB: USD/CNY = EUR/CNY ÷ EUR/USD. PBoC/CFETS: EUR/USD = EUR/CNY ÷ USD/CNY.
The observation date is the date on the source row. Weekends and holidays stay missing where a source did not publish; they are not filled in. Federal Reserve H.10 contains a daily observation, but the release usually arrives as a weekly batch, so the newest Fed date can be older than the newest ECB or CFETS date. That older date is shown. It is not replaced with another bank.
