What This Indicator Measures
Daily gasoline assessment for ship-to-ship transfer off Lomé, Togo, in USD/mt.
Gasoline (Mogas 92/95, Eurobob, 10 ppm): A physical price for motor gasoline. Asian series are quoted by research octane number (92 and 95 RON) in USD/bbl; European series are Eurobob blendstock barges (E5 and E10 ethanol grades) and finished 10 ppm gasoline cargoes in USD/mt.
What the source does not state for this series
- The source table names this series as “Gasoline” and does not print a fuller specification; none is assumed here.
- Octane and sulphur of the assessed grade are not printed in the loaded row.
Specification · product family only
- 92 and 95 refer to research octane number (RON).
- Eurobob is an oxygenate-free blendstock intended for ethanol blending; E5 and E10 designate the target ethanol share of the finished grade.
- European road gasoline is limited to 10 mg/kg sulphur by the EU Fuel Quality Directive.
Basis: STS Lome
- STS (ship-to-ship): the value refers to product transferred between vessels at the named offshore location, not to a shore-tank or delivered-inland price.
- Lomé (Togo) hosts an offshore ship-to-ship transfer zone in the Gulf of Guinea used to redistribute imported products along the West African coast.
Unit: USD/mt
- USD/bbl values (Singapore, Arab Gulf, Fujairah) and USD/mt values (Europe, Japan naphtha) cannot be compared without a product-specific density conversion; the site does not convert them.
- Published assessments are a low–high range with a midpoint; charts and monthly statistics use the midpoint only.

What This STS Lome Price Represents
This page tracks the daily gasoline on a STS Lome basis, quoted in USD/mt. Figures are CommodityScope Indicators synthesized from loaded market editions. They are not a live quote and not a republication of a price-reporting agency table.
How to use this series
- Track gasoline values by grade and region; the 92/95 spread and the E5/E10 spread are octane and blending differentials.
What it is not suitable for
- Retail pump prices.
- Treating Eurobob blendstock and finished gasoline as one product.
Compare With
Each comparison states why the series are related and whether the latest values can be subtracted directly (same unit, currency and assessment date). Where they cannot, the values are shown side by side without a difference.
| Series | Why compare | Latest | Difference (this − other) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gasoline — West Africa FOB West Africa · USD/mt · daily | Same gasoline in the same region on FOB West Africa instead of STS Lomé terms; the gap contains freight/insurance or barge-vs-cargo logistics, not quality.
| 1252.00 4 Sep 2026 | -7.00 |
| Eurobob E5 — ARA FOB AR · USD/mt · daily | Eurobob barges FOB AR: European blendstock supply; different product form.
| 1290.50 4 Sep 2026 | -45.50 |
