How to Compare These Series
- For day-to-day moves use a daily series (Rebar FOB Turkey, Rebar FOB China, Rebar Ex-stock Beijing VAT-inclusive, Rebar CFR Southeast Asia and 2 more); for week-on-week and monthly context use a weekly series (Rebar DDP Houston, Rebar EXW US Southeast, Rebar EXW Northwest Europe, Rebar EXW Northwest Europe, Carbon-accounted and 7 more). A daily and a weekly series are related markets, not one history.
- FOB series (2) price the cargo at the loading port; CFR series (1) include freight to the named destination. Compare within one delivery term; the gap between terms may reflect freight, insurance, location basis, parcel size and timing, and is neither a margin nor a freight rate.
