How to Compare These Series
- For day-to-day moves use a daily series (HRC FOB China SAE1006, HRC FOB China SS400, HRC FOB China SAE1006-SS400 spread, HRC CFR Southeast Asia SAE1006 and 14 more); for week-on-week and monthly context use a weekly series (HRC CPT Moscow, HRC FOB Black Sea, HRC Russia Black Sea exports FOB, HRC Turkey exports FOB and 6 more). A daily and a weekly series are related markets, not one history.
- FOB series (6) price the cargo at the loading port; CFR/CIF series (5) include freight to the named destination. Compare within one delivery term; the gap between terms may reflect freight, insurance, location basis, parcel size and timing, and is neither a margin nor a freight rate.
- Units differ: USD/mt (11), USD/st (3), EUR/mt (8), RUB/mt (1), GBP/mt (1), CNY/mt (1), MXN/mt (1), INR/mt (1), BRL/mt (1). Pick the series in the unit you trade; this site does not convert between them.
